Newmarket Plantation started as a royal land grant from the King of England in 1726. Today, Newmarket Plantation is a 450-acre family owned and operated farm located in Caroline County, Virginia. It has been in vegetable production since 1998 and produces beets, broccoli, cabbage, greens, peppers, summer squash, sweet corn, tomatoes, turnips, and watermelons.
